Olga Manakova was born in Miass, Chelyabinsk Oblast, lives and works in Chelyabinsk.

Her artistic practice draws on personal experience.  Her main themes include sensory experience, the influence of unconscious images and narratives, emotional connection to place, self-actualization.  She uses digital photography, video, and text. 

Studied at the Fotografika Academy of Documentary and Artistic Photography (2022–2023, unfinished)
